Events, Workshops & Performance Talks

At Venture Performance, helping people improve doesn’t stop with one-to-one coaching. Alongside our coaching, sports therapy and bike fitting services, we occasionally host educational events, workshops and performance talks designed to help runners, cyclists and active individuals develop their knowledge and confidence.

Many of these events take place at our performance studio in Berkhamsted, while others may be delivered in collaboration with local clubs, organisations or suitable venues. Rather than following a fixed schedule, events are organised throughout the year as opportunities arise, allowing us to focus on delivering relevant, practical sessions that provide genuine value.

Whether you’re looking to improve your training, understand injury prevention, or learn more about endurance performance, our events are designed to give you practical knowledge that you can apply straight away.

Learn From Real Experience

Every workshop and educational session is shaped by real-world experience.

Doug Coleman spent more than a decade competing as an elite cyclist before transitioning into coaching, sports massage therapy and performance support. Today, he works with everyone from beginners taking on their first challenge to experienced athletes preparing for major competitions.

Rather than focusing on theory alone, our events aim to provide practical advice based on years of coaching, competition and working with athletes across a wide range of disciplines.

Supporting Your Development Beyond The Event

An event or workshop can be a valuable starting point, but lasting progress comes from applying what you’ve learned consistently over time.

Many people who attend our educational sessions go on to explore our wider services, including coaching, sports therapy, bike fitting and strength and conditioning support.

Built On Experience & Proven Results

Everything discussed during our workshops reflects the same approach used in day-to-day coaching and client support.

Rather than relying on trends or generic advice, every recommendation is shaped by practical experience working with athletes pursuing a wide variety of goals.
